Tetsujin

Myojin Naohito-san is a sharpener who trained in Echizen then in Sakai (notably under the renowned and beloved master sharpener Morihiro) before coming back to the family workshop in Tosa to create the Tetsujin brand with his friend, blacksmith Tamura Toru-san who began his forging journey in Echizen under master Kato Hiroshi before studying the forging of single-bevel knives under master Shimizu Masaharu. Highly praised for their cutting ability, Tetsujin knives are all hammer forged by Tamura-san and hand sharpened and finished by Myojin-san, with a nail flexing edge and a high attention to details which include refined finishing touches such as chamfered and polished spine and choil, enhancing both aesthetics and comfort when holding the knife with a pinch grip.
