Manaka Hamono

Kisuke Manaka is the fifth-generation head of Manaka Hamono, a forge founded in 1872 in Kasukabe, Saitama Prefecture. Mentored by the great Sanjo smith Tsukasa Hinoura, he is one of very few smiths who forge all of their own laminated stock from scratch, including forge-welding stainless cladding onto a carbon core.
