Knife Sharpening FAQs

How long does sharpening take?

Turnaround depends on condition and workload. Many knives are completed between a few business days to 1 week. We’ll confirm timing after we examine your knife.

Do you sharpen serrated or ceramic knives?

We specialise in kitchen knives with standard edges (Japanese and Western). We do not sharpen ceramic or heavily serrated blades.

How sharp will my knife be?

Expect a clean, precise, and durable edge suitable for daily kitchen use, finished by hand on Japanese whetstones.

Can I post my knife for sharpening service?

If you live outside Brisbane or live in another state, please contact us before posting your knife. We’ll first ask about the knife’s condition and then guide you through the posting procedure and return timeline.
