Nao Yamamoto

Nao Yamamoto, a highly skilled and esteemed blacksmith, resides in the city of Echizen, Fukui Prefecture. Having trained under the late master blacksmith Masami Asai, Yamamoto has inherited his mentor's legacy and continues to craft exceptional knives under the Asai name.

Yamamoto's remarkable talent in forging both stainless and high carbon steels, as well as his ability to incorporate unique and aesthetically pleasing Damascus patterns into his blades, never fails to impress. Additionally, his expertise in heat treating techniques has earned him recognition as a notable member of the Takefu Knife Village association.
