Muneishi Hamono was established in 1955 in Tosa, Japan, is known for its kitchen knives made by Kosuke Muneishi, who represents the third generation of the family business. They are located in Tosa, Kochi Prefecture, a small town on the southern coast of Shikoku Island, with a population of just 27,000 residents. Despite its small size, Tosa is recognized as one of Japan's major centers for knife production.
