Nakagawa
Satoshi Nakagawa is a relatively young knifemaker who resides in the renowned city of Sakai, Japan. Sixteen years ago, he commenced his apprenticeship under the tutelage of the legendary artisan, Mr. Kenichi Shiraki, one of Japan's most esteemed blacksmiths. With the retirement of Master Shiraki and the subsequent closure of his workshop in 2020, the torch of craftsmanship has been entrusted to Mr. Satoshi Nakagawa, who holds the distinction of being Master Shiraki's sole Deshi (disciple). In April 2021, Mr. Satoshi Nakagawa established his own workshop, Nakagawa Hamono.
