Collection: Higonokami

The Higonokami is Japan's original folding pocket knife, made in Miki, Hyogo Prefecture since the 1890s. Its simple folded-steel handle and the chikiri, a thumb lever used to open and hold the blade, are unchanged in over a century. Today it is made by the Nagao family, the last maker entitled to the Higonokami name.
